What lens treatments does Rendel offer?

At RENDEL, we're redefining the standards of traditional eyewear by offering superior quality products at fair prices. It all starts with the choice of lenses. RENDEL GLASSES We carefully select high-quality organic lenses to ensure optimal comfort for your eyes. All our lenses filter 100% of UV rays, category 3 for the darkest lenses and category 2 for the lightest lenses. We offer anti-blue light options to protect your eyes from screens, available with or without correction. We also offer single-vision lenses for clear vision at distance or near, with anti-smudge, anti-reflective, or lens-thinning options to meet your specific needs. Progressive lenses are also available for clear vision at any distance with a single pair of glasses. However, these lenses require in-store expertise and cannot be ordered online. GLASS TREATMENT Anti-Smudge: Anti-smudge lenses are treated with a special coating to prevent dirt, smudges, and fingerprints from adhering to the lens surface. Benefits include sharper, cleaner vision, easier and less frequent cleaning, and improved aesthetic appearance. Anti-Scratch: Anti-scratch lenses are treated with a special coating to resist scratches and damage. Benefits include extended lens life, clearer vision, easy cleaning, and a professional appearance. Anti-Glare: Anti-glare lenses are treated with a special coating that reduces glare and improves clarity of vision. Benefits include improved vision by avoiding glare, a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, and improved light transmission. Anti-Blue Light: Anti-blue light lenses are designed to filter out blue light emitted by screens and artificial light sources, reducing eye strain and improving sleep. Benefits include more comfortable vision when using electronic devices, reduced eye fatigue, and improved sleep. Polarized: Eliminates glare due to light reverberation GLASS REFINEMENTS Lens refinements refer to the thickness of the lens material that makes up the prescription lenses. We offer different levels of lens refinements to meet each individual's specific corrective needs. Thin lenses: Standard thickness generally recommended for light and moderate vision corrections (corrections less than -/+2). Very thin lenses: Also called high-index lenses. Recommended for more significant corrections because they reduce the thickness and weight of eyeglass lenses (corrections greater than or equal to -/+2). Ultra-thin lenses: Recommended for the most severe vision corrections because they offer the greatest comfort and the most aesthetic appearance (corrections greater than or equal to -/+4). This treatment is only available in our stores (link). ACETATE: Our glasses are made from acetate sheets selected from the finest suppliers. Acetate is a high-quality material made from cotton or wood. Hypoallergenic, acetate offers a playful, shiny appearance and transparency, providing a natural feel against the skin.
